WinkuStore is the store for every Winku program: discover, install and keep them up to date – with product pages, screenshots, reviews and automatic updates.
The store can now manage Minecraft mods: a mod gets its own tile for installing, updating and opening it, and its website is one click away via the small button next to it.
“Open” starts Minecraft with the mod: the first time, the store asks which profile in which launcher should start – or whether you’d rather open the website. You can change that any time with the gear on the tile.
Prism Launcher, MultiMC, the Modrinth App (0.15 and later) and NoRisk Client (0.6.22 and later) start the chosen profile directly. With the others, the launcher opens and the store tells you which profile to pick there.
The mod stays up to date through the store: with “Auto” on the tile, the store brings it to the latest version in all your profiles – but never while Minecraft is running. Without “Auto”, the tile shows “Update” as soon as a new version is out.
The channel you pick for the mod (stable, beta, dev) is now remembered and also applies to the tile and automatic updates.
Fixed: profiles from the current Modrinth App showed up without Minecraft version and loader because the app changed how it stores its profiles. The store now reads both.
System requirements
Windows 10/11 (64-bit), no administrator rights required
A Winku account for installing – browsing works without one
Internet connection for sign-in and downloads – previously loaded content stays available offline
About 280 MB of free space for the store
Verify download (SHA256)
For advanced users: the file’s checksum must match exactly — this confirms the file reached you unchanged.
New button next to the bell at the top: “Check for updates now” checks the store and all programs right away. A ring around the button then shows when you can check again.
Opening the store now checks for updates straight away – also when opening it from the notification area.
When a program has to be closed for an update, the store now asks it to shut itself down cleanly. Some programs no longer show the confusing “… keeps running” message.

What changed
If you are signed in to WinkuStore, the programs you install afterwards are signed in too: the store now passes the sign-in to the Winku Agent. Before, a newly installed program asked you to sign in again.
v1.79.1513 Sept 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.79.15.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
While an app downloads, its tile keeps its size: the progress bar now sits at the bottom of the tile in place of version and size, instead of stretching the tile and the whole row with it.
The lock shown when your account may not use the store now really covers the window; its styling was discarded before.
v1.79.712 Sept 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.79.7.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
"Clear" now sits with the messages instead of at the top of the sheet. Up there it looked as if it did nothing – it only clears the messages, not the download history above them.
When an update is only waiting for you to close the program, the store now checks every half minute and installs it then. The hint said "as soon as you close it", but it only looked again on the next 30-minute round – anyone checking right away thought the automatic updates were broken.
The tile now says "Update waiting" in that case, so you don't have to look for the reason in the bell.
If you switch the language while the activity sheet is open, its headings switch along.
v1.79.612 Sept 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.79.6.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Links and signing in also work on a Windows that has no default browser registered: the store then starts Edge directly. Until now Windows only showed "We can't open this https link" and still reported success to the store – on a fresh machine there was no way into the store at all.
When you return to the window, the store really checks what is installed. Until now it showed the state it had remembered: anyone who replaced a program outside the store kept seeing the old version.
New Winku SDK 1.60.7: self-updates through the Winku Agent install and restart the programs again – before, the program closed itself and kept running unchanged afterwards.
v1.78.110 Sept 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.78.1.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Browser-only services can be opened again, and the bell no longer closes when you click it.
On the page of a service that only runs in the browser, the main button read "No download available yet" – dead, and for a pure website none will ever arrive. It now reads "Open" and takes you straight to the service. The tile always had this right.
In the bell's activity sheet, the panel snapped shut on every click on "Update", "Update all" or "Cancel". The update did start, but you saw nothing of it and assumed it had not. The sheet now stays open and shows the progress.
Version 1.78.0 would not start on Windows at all: the integrity value for the program archive was recorded with the wrong separator, and startup aborted without a message. This build starts again.
v1.77.026 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.77.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
A new sign-in now clears the old one.
When you signed in again while a session was already active, the old one stayed alive on the server and kept occupying one of your device slots – with nobody able to identify it.
It is now signed out before the new one takes effect. If that fails, you are still signed in.
v1.76.026 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.76.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Signing out now really signs you out.
Until now the store only deleted the local data when signing out. The session stayed alive on the server and kept occupying one of your device slots – permanently, since nobody could identify it afterwards.
The session is now ended on the server first and deleted locally afterwards. If that fails, you are still signed out locally.
v1.75.026 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.75.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Maintenance release.
Updated Winku library (1.37.0). Nothing changes about downloads – the store uses its own path for those, complete since 1.71.0.
v1.74.026 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.74.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
The update channels are now called Stable, Beta and Dev everywhere.
A few places still held translated names ready ("Developer"). They were no longer displayed – but the moment they were used again they would have written translated channel names into the window.
Channel names are proper names and are not translated in either language.
v1.73.026 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.73.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
New under Settings: "About" with the third-party licences.
An entry "Third-party licences" links to winku.de/lizenzen, listing which third-party libraries ship with the store and under which licence.
v1.72.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.72.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Privacy: you decide about anonymous usage figures, and you no longer have to agree to the privacy policy.
On first start the store asks separately, with no preselection, whether it may send anonymous usage figures. If you say no, the random identifier is never created – and a later withdrawal deletes it.
New under Settings → Privacy: the switches "Send anonymous usage figures" and "Analysis in your account". Both can be changed at any time, and withdrawal takes effect immediately.
You no longer have to agree to the privacy policy. It is information, not a declaration of intent – you now only agree to the terms of use.
v1.71.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.71.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Updates from pre-release channels work fully again.
The signature file is now behind the sign-in as well. The store fetched it without credentials – the download succeeded and only the signature check failed.
winku.de also currently serves installers with the wrong content type. Our guard against injected error pages would therefore have discarded every download. It now judges by size and content instead of the server label.
Verified with a real pre-release installer: 126 MB, checksum and signature both fine.
v1.70.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.70.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Clearer wording when a download is not cleared for your account.
If clearance is missing you now read: "Your account is not cleared for this update channel – the installed version stays unchanged." No more "the next attempt starts over": without clearance the second one fails too.
The store provides this sentence itself. The server response is deliberately vague so it gives nothing away to strangers.
v1.69.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.69.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Pre-release versions can be downloaded again.
As of today, dev and beta files are only served to signed-in accounts. The store did not send its credentials when downloading – every update on a pre-release channel would have failed.
It now sends them on all three paths: programs, the store itself, and the background service.
If your account is not cleared, the reason is shown instead of "download failed".
v1.68.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.68.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
When an update fails, you now see what that means for you.
Instead of "it did not work" you get a card with the reason and what applies now: will the download resume? Will the file be fetched again? Is disk space missing? Does the installed version stay unchanged?
If a failure cannot be classified, a general sentence appears – and no way out that nobody honours.
v1.67.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.67.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
You can now change the update channel for the store alone, without changing your account.
The switch in the "Updates" section now has "Like account" as its default. Choosing Stable, Beta or Dev applies to the store only – your account and all other programs stay unchanged.
Below the switch it says where the setting comes from: your account, or this program only.
v1.66.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.66.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Channel changes now arrive immediately, without polling every minute.
If you change your update channel elsewhere, the shared background service reports it directly – the store no longer asks once a minute on its own.
If no background service is running, the minute poll still applies. It now also works while the window is in the background.
v1.65.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.65.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Small things.
Self-update progress is now shown even once the main window has closed.
v1.64.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.64.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
You are asked before the store updates itself, and you can see what is happening.
Before updating itself the store now asks: "Close and update?" – with "Later" as an equal answer. It used to close without warning.
A small window then shows the logo, version and a progress bar, instead of the store simply vanishing and reappearing later.
v1.63.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.63.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
The update section now opens itself when there is something to do.
When everything is up to date the section stays closed and shows version and status in its header. If an update is waiting or something failed, it opens by itself. If you click it yourself, your choice wins.
Each change entry now sits in its own box instead of a continuous list.
If you change your update channel elsewhere – on winku.de or in another program – the display follows without a restart.
The old version row with its own update button is gone; both now live in one place.
v1.62.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.62.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
The "Updates" section now looks the same in every Winku program.
Version, status and update button sit on one line, the channel choice below it, the changes below that – the same order as in Dubster, CueUp and Luvia.
The channel choice is a single-select switch instead of several checkboxes. Channels your account is not cleared for are no longer shown at all.
Below the switch it always says which channel your updates come from and which ones it includes.
Changes show the two newest versions expanded, everything older collapsed into one row.
v1.61.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.61.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
The open button now starts programs with a single click.
CueUp always needed at least two clicks. The store launched programs with a setting that suppresses their window: the first click ran the program invisibly, and only the second brought the window to the front.
Measured and fixed – one click, window after two seconds. Our build check used to enforce that setting; it now knows the case "a program the user is meant to see".
v1.60.024 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.60.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
No more flicker when opening, and update buttons disappear after an update.
On opening, the overview was rebuilt up to three times in a row, twice with exactly the same result. That showed as a brief flicker of the buttons. It now only redraws when something actually changed.
After an update, a program still showed "Update" although it had just been updated. The store now also records the new version where the display looks it up.
v1.59.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.59.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
An update is started at most once.
When the background check coincided with a staged installation, the store launched the same installer twice in quick succession. Two simultaneous installations over the same folder can leave a program unusable – one clears out while the other copies.
The second launch is now suppressed and noted in the log.
v1.58.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.58.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Maintenance release.
The store now honours the shared switch that stops all Winku programs from changing anything on the system. Anyone measuring or testing with it can no longer disturb the shared background service by accident.
v1.57.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.57.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
The start-up self-test no longer touches anything shared by all Winku programs.
The store's self-test runs in a separate area. Two things sat outside it: the shared background service and the machine-wide signature key.
Neither is touched during a test run any more. A test that claims to be isolated must not touch anything that exists only once on the machine.
v1.56.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.56.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Simultaneous downloads no longer collide.
When the store downloaded the same file twice at once – for example when the background check and a click coincide – both wrote to the same file. The result was a corrupted file that failed the checksum, and an update that failed for no visible reason.
Every download now gets its own name. This previously applied only to catalogue programs, not to the store itself and not to the background services.
v1.55.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.55.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Messages from the server are checked before they are shown.
In four places the store displays a sentence sent by winku.de – for example "20 devices are already signed in". Until now it only checked WHETHER something arrived, not whether it was text.
If no text arrives, you would have seen "true" or "[object Object]". In such cases our own, understandable sentence now appears.
v1.54.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.54.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
No more unrequested installer windows in the background.
When a program's catalogue entry does not say how it installs silently, the store used to try the usual switches. If none worked, an installer window opened in the middle of your work – unrequested.
Such programs are now skipped in the background and listed in your notifications. You can still install them from the button at any time; there you see the window and decide yourself.
v1.53.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.53.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
A failed update is no longer retried endlessly.
When a background installation failed, the store used to try again and again – each time downloading anew and opening an installer window that interrupted your work.
A failure is now remembered: the same build is not retried in the background for six hours. A newer build is tried right away, and the button still works at any time.
v1.52.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.52.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
The store now reports honestly when an update did not take effect.
For the Winku background services, the store used to record success whenever a call returned without an error – even if the old version kept running afterwards. Such an entry blocks every later attempt.
It now asks which version is actually running after the install. If it does not match, the reason is recorded instead of a false success.
v1.51.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.51.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
The store no longer launches foreign programs on suspicion.
When updating the Winku background services, the store used to run any file named "Setup". One of them was not an installer at all but the service itself – which was thereby started a second time by mistake.
A file is now only executed when it is explicitly marked as an installer. Otherwise nothing happens, and the reason is recorded.
v1.50.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.50.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Maintenance release.
Updated Winku library (1.29.0): update channel names can no longer produce an empty display, even if the server sends something unexpected.
The store itself never showed the fault – the safeguard now also sits in the library, so it holds next time too.
v1.49.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.49.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
The store now notices when its own files have been tampered with.
If the program archive is modified afterwards – even by a single character – the store refuses to start instead of running with altered code.
Verified, not just switched on: a changed character produces "ASAR Integrity Violation", and after restoring the backup everything runs normally again.
v1.48.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.48.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Security hardening and a safety net against blank windows.
The shipped application can no longer be misused as a Node interpreter and only loads its code from the verified archive. These switches were still at Electron's factory setting – wide open.
Picking an older build from the version archive now takes the address and checksum from the server instead of from our own window. What the server does not confirm is not installed.
If something goes wrong in the interface, the reason is now shown and the store stays usable – instead of a blank window with no explanation.
Update channel names and descriptions are shown in full again.
v1.47.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.47.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
When signing in fails, you now see why.
Before it just said "sign-in failed" – no reason, no way out. Now you get Winku's own sentence, for example: "20 devices are already signed in. Sign one of them out at winku.de/account."
"Too many attempts in a short time" and "the program you are signed in to is not running" are now told apart as well.
The reason was being sent by the server all along, it just never reached us. Fixed together with the Winku team.
v1.46.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.46.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
The product page now shows the name of the program at the top.
Until now only the tagline was there – you read "Turn any video into a dub pack." and were never told the program is called Dubster.
The name now comes first in large type, the tagline smaller below it, the description last.
v1.45.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.45.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Beta and Dev builds now show up in the store.
If you are set to Beta or Dev, the store shows the build from your channel – previously you saw the same version as everyone else, even though a newer one was waiting for you.
If your channel is empty for an app, the next lower stage applies. A Dev user gets the Beta when no Dev build exists, instead of nothing.
Anything below "Stable" is marked as a pre-release.
Incidentally: the store now takes this from the catalogue instead of four extra requests on every load.
v1.44.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.44.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Automatic sign-in at startup.
If you are signed in to another Winku app and that app is currently running, the store signs you in along with it at startup, without asking. The sign-in screen does not appear at all.
If that does not work – because no other app is open, there is no connection, or the sign-in is no longer valid – the sign-in screen with the "Sign in with Winku" button is there as before.
It is attempted exactly once per start, never repeatedly.
v1.43.023 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.43.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Update channels stay reliably up to date.
Which channels are enabled for your account is now picked up during the sign-in check itself. If a channel is revoked, it disappears from the selection even when the separate query does not get through.
Fixed: if the server ever answered without stating the channel, the store quietly fell back to "Stable" – although no permission had been revoked at all. A missing field is not a statement; your current channel now stays as it is.
v1.42.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.42.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
All app marks are now perfectly sharp.
The store displays app marks as vector graphics wherever winku.de provides one – on tiles, product pages and in the downloads panel. Previously fixed-size images were scaled down to the display size and went soft.
If the vector file is not there yet, the image is shown as before. That is not a theoretical case: for one app the address was already listed while the file had not been uploaded yet.
v1.41.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.41.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Update channels: multiple choice instead of a switch.
Channels are now listed as checkboxes, each with an explanation. "Stable" is always on and cannot be unticked – it is not a choice but the basis.
"Dev" includes "Beta". The Beta box is visibly ticked and locked accordingly, instead of only claiming so in text.
Channels not enabled for your account appear greyed out with the reason – rather than missing, or offering a choice the server rejects.
After a change the store checks for updates immediately. Previously the switch only took effect on the next start.
Channel names and explanations now come from winku.de. If they change there, they change everywhere at once.
Fixed: the settings page showed a hint that was not addressed to you at all, but was an instruction to the apps.
v1.40.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.40.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
A sharper Winku mark.
The Winku mark inside the app is now a vector graphic instead of a fixed-size image. It stays sharp at any size – previously it was scaled down from a 512-pixel source and went soft in the process.
The taskbar and installer icon now come straight from the vector too.
The mark itself is unchanged: same shape, same colours.
v1.39.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.39.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Buttons now feel like they respond to being pressed.
"Open" now says "Opening …" and stays disabled briefly. An app needs a few seconds before its window appears – previously it looked as if nothing had happened, and a second click started it a second time. The first click always did start it; you just could not tell.
Every button reacts visibly to being pressed, as do the menu items and tiles. Actions whose effect is not immediately visible also acknowledge the click briefly.
v1.38.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.38.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
A tidier version archive.
The version history now leads with the versions that can actually be installed. Recently 56 of 62 entries were no longer retrievable – a list where nearly every line reads "not available" is not an archive.
Nothing is discarded: a switch below reveals the older versions together with their changelog and states how many there are. The change history stays readable; it simply no longer poses as an offer that is not one.
winku.de now keeps more versions available than before, so falling back to an older version has several options again.
v1.37.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.37.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
If you check for updates yourself, you get them.
Fixed: "Check for updates now" and the update button went through the same staged rollout as the silent background check. When a version is rolled out gradually you would have read "up to date" although a newer one was ready – just not for you yet. When you check yourself, the staging no longer applies.
The silent background check still respects it: a new version reaches part of the users first, so a fault shows up early instead of everywhere at once.
This had no effect today because all versions go to everyone. It would have surfaced at the first staged rollout – on your side, not ours.
v1.36.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.36.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Pre-releases and announced apps are now recognisable as such.
If an app only offers a beta because no finished version exists yet, that is now stated everywhere: "Beta" next to the version on the tile, in the product page header, and as a sentence above the download – "A pre-release: usable, but still being tested."
An announced app without a download shows "Announced" instead of a button that cannot do anything, and explains it on its page.
Neither affects already installed apps or their updates.
v1.35.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.35.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Consistent wording around signing in.
The sentences about signing in now match the shared wording used by all Winku apps word for word – same situation, same sentence, whichever app you are in.
"No connection" now says explicitly that your sign-in stays valid. Without that, a network error reads like being kicked out, and people sign in again although nothing is broken.
New: if no app can broker the sign-in right now, the store names the way out – start the app you are signed in to, or sign in directly. Previously it said nothing at all.
v1.34.122 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.34.1.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
A more honest message when signing in through another app fails.
If the "Sign in with Winku" button fails, the store no longer claims your sign-in has expired – the reason never reaches it on that path. Instead it names both possibilities: check whether 20 devices are already signed in, or sign in below with your credentials.
The button stays in place, because after ending one device the same click can succeed.
v1.34.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.34.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Sign in through another Winku app – with your own access.
If you are signed in to another Winku app, you can adopt that here with one click. The store obtains its own access; the other app never hands its own out.
On winku.de/account the store therefore appears as its own entry and can be ended individually, without signing out every other app.
If no app can broker right now, the button does not appear at all – rather than a button behind which nothing happens.
If 20 devices are already signed in, that is now stated plainly, along with where you can end one.
The store no longer reads other apps\ access from the shared file.
v1.33.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.33.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
The sign-in button is now named consistently everywhere.
"Sign in automatically with Winku" becomes "Sign in with Winku". The button only appears where you actually click it – the automatic case is the one without any button. It now reads the same across all Winku apps.
v1.32.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.32.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
The sign-in button now behaves correctly without an internet connection.
If a sign-in is known on this device, the "Sign in automatically with Winku" button now also appears when winku.de cannot be reached. It is verified on click. Previously the button was missing without a connection and you had to type, even though the sign-in was valid.
No connection does not mean signed out: if the click fails because of the connection, your sign-in and the button both stay. Only when the server explicitly says the sign-in is no longer valid is it discarded.
When adopting an existing sign-in the store now obtains its own access instead of sharing another app\s. Under "Signed-in devices" on winku.de it therefore appears as its own entry and can be signed out individually, without signing out every other app.
v1.31.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.31.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Open installed apps directly, sign in with one click.
If an app is installed and up to date, the button now says "Open" instead of merely stating "Up to date" while doing nothing. The store knows where the app lives – so you should be able to start it from here.
If a valid Winku sign-in already exists on this device, the sign-in screen offers it at the top: "Sign in automatically with Winku", with the name below. One click is enough. Previously such a sign-in was adopted silently – now you decide.
A sign-in is verified with the server before it is shown. It can end at any time, for instance when you sign the device out on winku.de.
Changing your password now requires a six-digit code from your email. Afterwards all other sign-ins are ended; the store tells you how many.
In streamer mode your name and email are now replaced with example values instead of being covered with asterisks – identically across all Winku apps.
Winku is capitalised in running text.

What changed
Two corrections.
Fixed: the downloads panel offered an update even when the installed version was newer. That section only compared whether the versions differed – if the catalogue lagged behind, the store seriously offered a downgrade as an update while the tile next to it correctly showed "Up to date". It now uses the same check as the tiles.
The sign-in screen now says "Winku", and the mark and words sit on one line instead of being offset.
v1.29.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.29.0.exe · 78.1 MBNot available
What changed
Without a sign-in the store now shows only the sign-in screen.
When you are not signed in, the sign-in screen fills the window – instead of an interface where nothing works anyway. Installing, rating and tickets all require an account.
After signing out you land there again; after signing in you go straight into the store.
The two buttons in the bottom left now share the shape of the menu items above them.
v1.28.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.28.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
A consistent sign-in screen and a check that spots empty windows.
The sign-in screen now follows the shared form used by all Winku apps: language choice before signing in, the winku mark and word together in the heading, the fields on their own surface, a note that you stay signed in, and feedback while your sign-in is checked.
The winku mark now ships inside the app instead of being fetched from the web. Without an internet connection there used to be a gap.
New in the build: the finished application is started before every release and checked for visible content – among other things by counting how many colours appear in the window. An app whose interface fails to load shows an empty window and would pass any check that only asks whether it is running.
v1.27.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.27.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Downloads and messages in one place.
The download queue and the notifications are now one panel instead of two. It shows, in this order: what is running, which updates are ready, what was downloaded recently, and the remaining messages.
Every row now carries the app icon and the version – previously it was text only.
The history survives a restart. That is necessary because the store shuts itself down for its own update.
Fixed: the progress bar in the downloads panel did not move. Its width was set as an inline style, which our security policy discards.
The back button in the header only appears once the in-page button has scrolled out of view – no longer both at once.
The account entry in the bottom left is now as angular as the menu items above it.
v1.26.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.26.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Start several downloads at once – with a queue.
Clicking "Install" in the overview no longer jumps to the product page. Progress appears right in the tile, and you can start the next app immediately.
New in the top right: a queue symbol. It shows what is downloading, how fast, how much longer – and what is still pending. Each entry can be cancelled individually.
Items are processed one after another, not in parallel: two installations at the same time get in each other's way, and parallel downloads only share the same line.
The store itself always comes last. It cannot replace itself while running – so everything else finishes first, then the window closes briefly for its own installation.
The product page now shows size, speed and remaining time instead of just a percentage.
The back button stays visible in the header while scrolling.
Fixed: CueUp and Luvia showed words like "mic" or "shield" instead of icons in their feature list.
Fixed: in the image viewer the left arrow could not be clicked – the image sat on top of it.
The window buttons in the top right now dim along with the image viewer.
v1.25.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.25.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Streamer mode is left alone now.
Fixed: the internal self-check overwrote the shared file that controls streamer mode for all Winku apps. Anyone who had it enabled could lose that setting. During checks the file now lives in separate storage.
Whether a run is a check is no longer read from a switch but from where the data lives. A forgotten switch can no longer write or report anything outside.
New in the build: a proof that compares all real user files before and after every check run and raises an alarm as soon as one was touched. It first demonstrates on a sample that it is able to raise one at all.
v1.24.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.24.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Cleanup, and a check that keeps an old fault from returning.
Downloaded installer files are now removed once they are no longer needed. Previously one file of about 78 MB stayed behind after every installation; on the development machine almost 1 GB had piled up. All downloads now live in their own folder so nothing unrelated is touched during cleanup.
The store self-check runs in its own separate storage and no longer touches your real settings. Its leftovers are removed after every run.
New in the build: a check covering every place where the store launches another program. It would have prevented the fault in 1.22.0, where the update started but never arrived.
v1.23.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.23.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Self-update reliable again.
The store launches its own updater in a way that safely survives the app shutting down. In 1.22.0 and 1.22.1 the update was started but never arrived – please skip those two versions.
A new version of the store is detected within five minutes instead of half an hour. This causes no additional requests.
The installer exit code is written to the update log.
v1.21.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.21.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Update channels are now clearly visible.
Your account channel is named consistently everywhere: Stable, Beta or Developer. Previously some places still showed the raw "stable".
Every app now states in plain words which channel currently applies – and whether it comes from your account or was set for this one app. Pick "Account" and the app follows whenever you switch your account channel.
The developer channel is only shown if your account has it. For everyone else it is absent rather than greyed out.
Fixed: clicking the channel switch of a single app also tried to change the account channel.
Fixed: after a channel change the account entry only updated on the next start.
v1.20.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.20.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Installations can be cancelled.
While a file is downloading, a Cancel button sits next to the progress bar. One click stops the download immediately and removes the partial file.
Once the installer is running, the button disappears. Cancelling there would leave a half-replaced installation – worse than one that runs to the end.
Cancelling does not count as a failure: nothing is reported and nothing is shown as failed.
v1.19.322 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.19.3.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Consent now covers every user of a machine.
If you consented in the store, you will not be asked again on the same machine – not even under a second Windows account. Consent is additionally stored in a device-wide location.
When checking, the newer of the two consents counts. A changed version of the legal texts still does not re-prompt on its own.
Small detail for later: nothing is reported during uninstall – nothing may run there that could hold up an update.
v1.19.222 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.19.2.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Consent handling follows the new winku specification.
The version of the legal texts now comes from winku.de directly instead of the page modification date. A typo fix no longer affects your consent.
The device-wide consent is stored in the agreed shared format. If you consented in the store, no other Winku app will ask again – and the other way round.
When you are signed in, the consent is additionally recorded on your account.
A changed version does NOT re-prompt on its own.
v1.19.122 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.19.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
Anonymous usage figures and identifiable downloads.
The store now reports anonymous figures to winku.de: the running version, channel and language, plus whether an update went through. The identifier used for this is a plain random value generated on this device and deleted when you uninstall. It is never derived from hardware, account or user name and cannot be traced back to a person.
Two counts are sent as well: how often an installation and how often an update was started. Which app it was is not reported.
All downloads now send the identifier "winkustore/<version>", so they no longer show up as "unknown" in the statistics.
Fix over 1.19.0: there the uninstaller could block an update. Please skip version 1.19.0.
v1.18.122 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.18.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.18.1: Consent to the terms and privacy policy is now requested in the right place – once, before you install your first app, instead of at every sign-in. It covers every app you install through WinkuStore.
v1.18.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.18.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.18.0: When signing in you now explicitly agree to the terms and the privacy policy – with links to both texts. Without that consent no sign-in takes place, and the time of your consent is recorded so it stays traceable.
v1.17.122 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.17.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.17.1: When switching languages, the account and support sections stayed in the previous language – that is fixed. The placeholder details for streamer and screenshot mode now come centrally from winku so they look the same across all Winku apps.
v1.17.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.17.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.17.0: The store now notices new versions on its own while it is open – it checks the small version files every five minutes instead of reloading the whole catalogue. The overview updates quietly in the background.
Fixed: Installing an older version from the version history failed because the signature file could not be found.
Tidied up: Account and settings now share a single menu entry, and under Support the form for a new request appears right away instead of an empty page.
v1.16.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.16.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.16.0: Streamer mode now sets itself up. The store reads the port and password directly from your OBS installation – nothing to type in. One click on "When live" is enough, and as soon as you start streaming in OBS, your email address and account name disappear across all Winku apps.
If remote control is still switched off in OBS, the store now says exactly what to do – including a button to check again.
v1.15.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.15.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.15.0: The store now checks right before every download whether the shown version is still the current one. If a newer one has been released in the meantime, it asks instead of simply installing something else. If a version has been withdrawn, that is stated in plain language – along with an offer to install the current one. If you deliberately pick an older version from the history, that choice is respected.
v1.14.122 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.14.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.14.1: Privacy fix. Automatic error reports could previously contain your account name or email address – both are now reliably removed, along with paths and access keys.
v1.14.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.14.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.14.0: Store updates now go through reliably – the installer handles the switch itself, without helper windows in the background. If an update still does not arrive, the store notices on the next start, skips that version and waits for a newer one instead of retrying endlessly.
Also: the user display at the bottom left now shows your avatar with a colour-coded status, and a new screenshot mode replaces personal details with neutral placeholders – handy for captures and streams.
v1.13.222 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.13.2.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.13.2: Small maintenance fix with no visible changes.
v1.13.122 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.13.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.13.1: Clearer download messages. If a version has been withdrawn, that is now stated exactly – instead of a confusing message about a faulty checksum. Incomplete downloads are also detected, and simultaneous downloads no longer interfere with each other.
v1.13.022 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.13.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.13.0: Streamer mode. It hides your email address and account name – permanently if you like, or automatically as soon as you go live with OBS. The setting applies to all Winku apps at once.
Also: account and support are now their own sections in the sidebar, the update channel can additionally be set per app, ratings appear immediately instead of loading late, and switches and the account display have been reworked.
v1.12.321 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.12.3.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.12.3: Updating the store itself works reliably again. Until now the installation failed because parts of the program were still running while files were being replaced – and a console window briefly flashed up. The store now closes completely, installs the new version in the background and restarts automatically.
v1.12.221 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.12.2.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.12.2: Minor display corrections. Release notes are now shown with correct special characters throughout – in the overview, on product pages and in the version history.
v1.12.121 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.12.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
v1.12.021 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.12.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.12.0: The version history is now grouped into version series instead of one endless list – open the series first, then the individual version. Versions that are no longer available are marked as such. Your account now clearly shows that you are signed in via winku.
v1.11.221 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.11.2.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.11.2: The update channel can now really be switched inside the store – it shows which channels are available for your account and warns before a switch that cannot be undone.
v1.11.121 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.11.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.11.1: The update channel can now be switched between stable and beta right in the settings. The store also correctly updates itself when you click its own update, the update check now states clearly whether a new version is ready, and the divider below the header again runs to the window edge.
v1.11.021 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.11.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.11.0: If an app is running, the store now asks before closing it for the update – instead of the update failing without explanation. Automatic updates no longer skip running apps silently but retry later. Error messages are now shown in plain language instead of error codes.
v1.10.221 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.10.2.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.10.2: Important update fix – the store used to get stuck when an offered version was withdrawn: it kept announcing the old one and no longer showed newer releases. Every check is now re-evaluated and the currently available version is always offered.
v1.10.121 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.10.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.10.1: Polish for the new look – the window bar now blends in properly, notifications and dialogs are opaque again, and the sidebar shows your avatar and name side by side.
v1.10.021 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.10.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.10.0: WinkuStore now follows the unified winku look – with a sidebar, new colours and a clearly visible indicator showing whether you are connected with your winku account. Settings now have their own page.
v1.9.221 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.9.2.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.9.2: Important update – fixes an issue where valid updates were rejected by mistake. After this version updates work reliably again.
v1.9.121 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.9.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.9.1: Important security update – digital signature verification now works reliably. Previously valid updates could be rejected by mistake. Please install.
v1.9.021 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.9.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.9.0: If something goes wrong while downloading or installing, the store now reports the problem automatically and anonymously to the winku team – so issues get fixed faster without you having to do anything.
v1.8.121 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.8.1.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
New in 1.8.1: Cleaner interface – notifications now appear collected in the bell at the top right instead of a banner, and there is a settings page right in the app: automatic store updates in the background (installed on close), automatic app updates, notifications on/off, language and update channel at a glance.
v1.8.021 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.8.0.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.8.0: Updates are now digitally signed and will be distributed efficiently – only what actually changed needs to be downloaded. Staged rollouts are now also handled exactly as planned.
v1.7.321 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.7.3.exe · 78.0 MBNot available
What changed
1.7.3: Security update – downloads are now verified with a digital signature in addition to the checksum, and new versions can be rolled out gradually. The store also fully manages the shared winku base component.
v1.7.221 Aug 2026WinkuStore-Setup-1.7.2.exe · 78.0 MBNot available

What changed
1.7.1: The store now also checks for updates regularly while it is open (every 30 minutes and when returning to the window) – lightweight in the background, without disturbing the interface. Newly released versions appear without restarting the store.

Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. No administrator rights required.
?Do I need an account?
WinkuStore
Not for browsing, but yes for installing. Signing in applies to all Winku apps – once is enough.
?Why am I asked something before my first installation?
WinkuStore
Once per device you confirm the terms and the privacy policy. That confirmation covers every app you install through the store; neither the store nor an installed app asks again afterwards.
?Where does the app information come from?
WinkuStore
Live from the public Winku catalogue – the same content as on the website.
?Are the downloads safe?
WinkuStore
Every file is verified against its SHA256 checksum and its signature before installation. If anything does not match, it is discarded instead of installed.
?Can I cancel a download?
WinkuStore
Yes, while it is downloading. The partial file is removed. Once the installation itself is running it is finished – cancelling midway would leave a half-replaced installation.
?Do I get updates?
WinkuStore
Yes, automatically in the background – and you decide whether your apps update themselves too. The update channel can be set for everything or per app.
?Can I go back to an older version?
WinkuStore
Yes, through an app's version archive, as long as that version is still offered.
