The timetable changes.
Nivo lets you know.

Nivo checks your WebUntis timetable regularly and tells you what’s different: cancelled, covered, room change, moved. See the plan as a week or a day in your browser. Alerts come as browser notifications, on Telegram or to your webhook – or add the plan to your calendar as a subscription. Apps for Android (with Wear OS), iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac are coming.

The Nivo apps show the same timetables as the website, and you sign in with the same Winku account. They’re in testing; Google Play and the App Store are coming, and so is the Mac app.

Android: notifications right in the app, home screen widgets, “Class live” with the current lesson on your lock screen (from Android 16 as a Live Update with a timeline) and Nivo for Wear OS with a tile and complications.

iPhone and iPad: widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen, “Class live” as a Live Activity and in the Dynamic Island, plus Apple Watch with today’s timetable and complications. Notifications in the iPhone app are coming – until then, Nivo reaches you via Telegram, a webhook or the website’s notifications.

Mac: Nivo in the menu bar with the current lesson.

In every app: hide timetables, pick your course in elective slots, your state’s school holidays in the timetable, and Help & feedback under Account.

Nivo fetches timetables from WebUntis – from your school’s public timetable or with your own login. Nivo is not a product of Untis GmbH.

School holidays in the apps: holiday dates of the German states (KMK) via the OpenHolidays API, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. The table Nivo builds from it is available for download under the ODbL 1.0 as well.

Question not listed?Ask us via support
  1. How much does Nivo cost?

Nothing. All you need is a free Winku account. No ads, no tracking.

  2. Do I need a login from my school?

Only if your school doesn’t publish its timetable. If it does, the link is enough. Logins are stored encrypted and only used to fetch your timetable.

  3. How often does Nivo check?

Regularly, in the background. It may alert you at most twice a day per channel and never twice within an hour – otherwise it would be noise rather than information. Nivo is a helper: your school’s official timetable always takes precedence.

  4. Is there a Nivo app?

Soon. The apps for Android with Wear OS and for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch are in testing and coming to Google Play and the App Store; the Mac app will follow. Until then, Nivo runs right here in your browser. On iPhone and iPad you get notifications once you add the page via “Share → Add to Home Screen”.

  5. Can other people see my timetable?

No, saved timetables belong to your account. One exception you should know about: the address of a calendar subscription works like a password – anyone who has it can see your timetable without signing in. You can create a new one at any time; the old one stops working immediately.

  6. What data does Nivo store?

Your timetables (school, class, lessons), your alert channels – such as your Telegram ID, webhook address or your browser’s sign-up for notifications – and the alerts that were sent. Detected changes are deleted after 30 days, sent alerts after 90 days. Details are in the privacy policy.

  7. Does Telegram learn what’s in my timetable?

Yes – the alert travels over Telegram’s servers, so its content is there. If you’d rather avoid that, use your own webhook or the calendar subscription.

  8. Can I delete everything?

Yes. Delete single channels, timetables and subscriptions in the settings, or everything together with your Winku account.

  9. I’m a teacher and my name appears in a timetable. Can I object?

Yes, even without a Winku account: at winku.de/nivo/widerspruch (opens in a new tab).

  10. Is Nivo part of Untis GmbH?

No. Nivo is a Winku service that fetches WebUntis timetables. Untis and WebUntis are trademarks of Untis GmbH; there is no connection or cooperation.
