All Winku apps.
One store.

WinkuStore is the store for every Winku program: discover, install and keep them up to date – with product pages, screenshots, reviews and automatic updates.

All Winku apps at a glance
All Winku apps at a glance

Was WinkuStore kann

All Winku apps in one place – discover, install, keep up to date.

Everything in one place

All Winku apps with descriptions, screenshots, features, ratings and changelog – exactly as on winku.de.

Install and remove again

Pick an app and install – the store downloads, verifies and sets it up. Removing works the same way, optionally including the app data.

Automatic updates

The store keeps itself and your apps up to date in the background. You decide whether it may.

Verified downloads

Every file is checked against its SHA256 checksum and its signature before installation. A download can be cancelled at any time.

Choose your update channel

Stable or beta – for everything at once or per app. Older versions can be installed from the version archive.

Works offline

Data loaded previously stays available, even without an internet connection.

Beta and development builds now show up in the store.

  • If you are set to Beta or Development, the store shows the build from your channel – previously you saw the same version as everyone else, even though a newer one was waiting for you.
  • If your channel is empty for an app, the next lower stage applies. A Development user gets the beta when no development build exists, instead of nothing.
  • Anything below "Stable" is marked as a pre-release.
  • Incidentally: the store now takes this from the catalogue instead of four extra requests on every load.

Automatic sign-in at startup.

  • If you are signed in to another Winku app and that app is currently running, the store signs you in along with it at startup, without asking. The sign-in screen does not appear at all.
  • If that does not work – because no other app is open, there is no connection, or the sign-in is no longer valid – the sign-in screen with the "Sign in with Winku" button is there as before.
  • It is attempted exactly once per start, never repeatedly.

Update channels stay reliably up to date.

  • Which channels are enabled for your account is now picked up during the sign-in check itself. If a channel is revoked, it disappears from the selection even when the separate query does not get through.
  • Fixed: if the server ever answered without stating the channel, the store quietly fell back to "Stable" – although no permission had been revoked at all. A missing field is not a statement; your current channel now stays as it is.

All app marks are now perfectly sharp.

  • The store displays app marks as vector graphics wherever winku.de provides one – on tiles, product pages and in the downloads panel. Previously fixed-size images were scaled down to the display size and went soft.
  • If the vector file is not there yet, the image is shown as before. That is not a theoretical case: for one app the address was already listed while the file had not been uploaded yet.

Update channels: multiple choice instead of a switch.

  • Channels are now listed as checkboxes, each with an explanation. "Stable" is always on and cannot be unticked – it is not a choice but the basis.
  • "Development" includes "Beta". The Beta box is visibly ticked and locked accordingly, instead of only claiming so in text.
  • Channels not enabled for your account appear greyed out with the reason – rather than missing, or offering a choice the server rejects.
  • After a change the store checks for updates immediately. Previously the switch only took effect on the next start.
  • Channel names and explanations now come from winku.de. If they change there, they change everywhere at once.
  • Fixed: the settings page showed a hint that was not addressed to you at all, but was an instruction to the apps.

A sharper Winku mark.

  • The Winku mark inside the app is now a vector graphic instead of a fixed-size image. It stays sharp at any size – previously it was scaled down from a 512-pixel source and went soft in the process.
  • The taskbar and installer icon now come straight from the vector too.
  • The mark itself is unchanged: same shape, same colours.

Buttons now feel like they respond to being pressed.

  • "Open" now says "Opening …" and stays disabled briefly. An app needs a few seconds before its window appears – previously it looked as if nothing had happened, and a second click started it a second time. The first click always did start it; you just could not tell.
  • Every button reacts visibly to being pressed, as do the menu items and tiles. Actions whose effect is not immediately visible also acknowledge the click briefly.
v1.38.0
22.08.2026
WinkuStore-Setup-1.38.0.exe · 78,1 MBNot available

A tidier version archive.

  • The version history now leads with the versions that can actually be installed. Recently 56 of 62 entries were no longer retrievable – a list where nearly every line reads "not available" is not an archive.
  • Nothing is discarded: a switch below reveals the older versions together with their changelog and states how many there are. The change history stays readable; it simply no longer poses as an offer that is not one.
  • winku.de now keeps more versions available than before, so falling back to an older version has several options again.
v1.37.0

WinkuStore-Setup-1.37.0.exe · 78,1 MBNot available

If you check for updates yourself, you get them.

  • Fixed: "Check for updates now" and the update button went through the same staged rollout as the silent background check. When a version is rolled out gradually you would have read "up to date" although a newer one was ready – just not for you yet. When you check yourself, the staging no longer applies.
  • The silent background check still respects it: a new version reaches part of the users first, so a fault shows up early instead of everywhere at once.
  • This had no effect today because all versions go to everyone. It would have surfaced at the first staged rollout – on your side, not ours.
v1.36.0

Pre-releases and announced apps are now recognisable as such.

  • If an app only offers a beta because no finished version exists yet, that is now stated everywhere: "Beta" next to the version on the tile, in the product page header, and as a sentence above the download – "A pre-release: usable, but still being tested."
  • An announced app without a download shows "Announced" instead of a button that cannot do anything, and explains it on its page.
  • Neither affects already installed apps or their updates.

Consistent wording around signing in.

  • The sentences about signing in now match the shared wording used by all Winku apps word for word – same situation, same sentence, whichever app you are in.
  • "No connection" now says explicitly that your sign-in stays valid. Without that, a network error reads like being kicked out, and people sign in again although nothing is broken.
  • New: if no app can broker the sign-in right now, the store names the way out – start the app you are signed in to, or sign in directly. Previously it said nothing at all.
v1.34.1

A more honest message when signing in through another app fails.

  • If the "Sign in with Winku" button fails, the store no longer claims your sign-in has expired – the reason never reaches it on that path. Instead it names both possibilities: check whether 20 devices are already signed in, or sign in below with your credentials.
  • The button stays in place, because after ending one device the same click can succeed.

Sign in through another Winku app – with your own access.

  • If you are signed in to another Winku app, you can adopt that here with one click. The store obtains its own access; the other app never hands its own out.
  • On winku.de/account the store therefore appears as its own entry and can be ended individually, without signing out every other app.
  • If no app can broker right now, the button does not appear at all – rather than a button behind which nothing happens.
  • If 20 devices are already signed in, that is now stated plainly, along with where you can end one.
  • The store no longer reads other apps\ access from the shared file.

The sign-in button is now named consistently everywhere.

  • "Sign in automatically with Winku" becomes "Sign in with Winku". The button only appears where you actually click it – the automatic case is the one without any button. It now reads the same across all Winku apps.
v1.32.0
22.08.2026
WinkuStore-Setup-1.32.0.exe · 78,1 MBNot available
Show changes

The sign-in button now behaves correctly without an internet connection.

  • If a sign-in is known on this device, the "Sign in automatically with Winku" button now also appears when winku.de cannot be reached. It is verified on click. Previously the button was missing without a connection and you had to type, even though the sign-in was valid.
  • No connection does not mean signed out: if the click fails because of the connection, your sign-in and the button both stay. Only when the server explicitly says the sign-in is no longer valid is it discarded.
  • When adopting an existing sign-in the store now obtains its own access instead of sharing another app\s. Under "Signed-in devices" on winku.de it therefore appears as its own entry and can be signed out individually, without signing out every other app.
v1.31.0

WinkuStore-Setup-1.31.0.exe · 78,1 MBNot available
Show changes

Open installed apps directly, sign in with one click.

  • If an app is installed and up to date, the button now says "Open" instead of merely stating "Up to date" while doing nothing. The store knows where the app lives – so you should be able to start it from here.
  • If a valid Winku sign-in already exists on this device, the sign-in screen offers it at the top: "Sign in automatically with Winku", with the name below. One click is enough. Previously such a sign-in was adopted silently – now you decide.
  • A sign-in is verified with the server before it is shown. It can end at any time, for instance when you sign the device out on winku.de.
  • Changing your password now requires a six-digit code from your email. Afterwards all other sign-ins are ended; the store tells you how many.
  • In streamer mode your name and email are now replaced with example values instead of being covered with asterisks – identically across all Winku apps.
  • Winku is capitalised in running text.

Two corrections.

  • Fixed: the downloads panel offered an update even when the installed version was newer. That section only compared whether the versions differed – if the catalogue lagged behind, the store seriously offered a downgrade as an update while the tile next to it correctly showed "Up to date". It now uses the same check as the tiles.
  • The sign-in screen now says "Winku", and the mark and words sit on one line instead of being offset.
v1.29.0
22.08.2026
WinkuStore-Setup-1.29.0.exe · 78,1 MBNot available
Show changes

Without a sign-in the store now shows only the sign-in screen.

  • When you are not signed in, the sign-in screen fills the window – instead of an interface where nothing works anyway. Installing, rating and tickets all require an account.
  • After signing out you land there again; after signing in you go straight into the store.
  • The two buttons in the bottom left now share the shape of the menu items above them.

WinkuStore-Setup-1.28.0.exe · 78,0 MBNot available
Show changes

A consistent sign-in screen and a check that spots empty windows.

  • The sign-in screen now follows the shared form used by all Winku apps: language choice before signing in, the winku mark and word together in the heading, the fields on their own surface, a note that you stay signed in, and feedback while your sign-in is checked.
  • The winku mark now ships inside the app instead of being fetched from the web. Without an internet connection there used to be a gap.
  • New in the build: the finished application is started before every release and checked for visible content – among other things by counting how many colours appear in the window. An app whose interface fails to load shows an empty window and would pass any check that only asks whether it is running.

Downloads and messages in one place.

  • The download queue and the notifications are now one panel instead of two. It shows, in this order: what is running, which updates are ready, what was downloaded recently, and the remaining messages.
  • Every row now carries the app icon and the version – previously it was text only.
  • The history survives a restart. That is necessary because the store shuts itself down for its own update.
  • Fixed: the progress bar in the downloads panel did not move. Its width was set as an inline style, which our security policy discards.
  • The back button in the header only appears once the in-page button has scrolled out of view – no longer both at once.
  • The account entry in the bottom left is now as angular as the menu items above it.

Start several downloads at once – with a queue.

  • Clicking "Install" in the overview no longer jumps to the product page. Progress appears right in the tile, and you can start the next app immediately.
  • New in the top right: a queue symbol. It shows what is downloading, how fast, how much longer – and what is still pending. Each entry can be cancelled individually.
  • Items are processed one after another, not in parallel: two installations at the same time get in each other's way, and parallel downloads only share the same line.
  • The store itself always comes last. It cannot replace itself while running – so everything else finishes first, then the window closes briefly for its own installation.
  • The product page now shows size, speed and remaining time instead of just a percentage.
  • The back button stays visible in the header while scrolling.
  • Fixed: CueUp and Luvia showed words like "mic" or "shield" instead of icons in their feature list.
  • Fixed: in the image viewer the left arrow could not be clicked – the image sat on top of it.
  • The window buttons in the top right now dim along with the image viewer.

Streamer mode is left alone now.

  • Fixed: the internal self-check overwrote the shared file that controls streamer mode for all Winku apps. Anyone who had it enabled could lose that setting. During checks the file now lives in separate storage.
  • Whether a run is a check is no longer read from a switch but from where the data lives. A forgotten switch can no longer write or report anything outside.
  • New in the build: a proof that compares all real user files before and after every check run and raises an alarm as soon as one was touched. It first demonstrates on a sample that it is able to raise one at all.

Cleanup, and a check that keeps an old fault from returning.

  • Downloaded installer files are now removed once they are no longer needed. Previously one file of about 78 MB stayed behind after every installation; on the development machine almost 1 GB had piled up. All downloads now live in their own folder so nothing unrelated is touched during cleanup.
  • The store self-check runs in its own separate storage and no longer touches your real settings. Its leftovers are removed after every run.
  • New in the build: a check covering every place where the store launches another program. It would have prevented the fault in 1.22.0, where the update started but never arrived.

Self-update reliable again.

  • The store launches its own updater in a way that safely survives the app shutting down. In 1.22.0 and 1.22.1 the update was started but never arrived – please skip those two versions.
  • A new version of the store is detected within five minutes instead of half an hour. This causes no additional requests.
  • The installer exit code is written to the update log.

Update channels are now clearly visible.

  • Your account channel is named consistently everywhere: Stable, Beta or Developer. Previously some places still showed the raw "stable".
  • Every app now states in plain words which channel currently applies – and whether it comes from your account or was set for this one app. Pick "Account" and the app follows whenever you switch your account channel.
  • The developer channel is only shown if your account has it. For everyone else it is absent rather than greyed out.
  • Fixed: clicking the channel switch of a single app also tried to change the account channel.
  • Fixed: after a channel change the account entry only updated on the next start.

Installations can be cancelled.

  • While a file is downloading, a Cancel button sits next to the progress bar. One click stops the download immediately and removes the partial file.
  • Once the installer is running, the button disappears. Cancelling there would leave a half-replaced installation – worse than one that runs to the end.
  • Cancelling does not count as a failure: nothing is reported and nothing is shown as failed.

Consent now covers every user of a machine.

  • If you consented in the store, you will not be asked again on the same machine – not even under a second Windows account. Consent is additionally stored in a device-wide location.
  • When checking, the newer of the two consents counts. A changed version of the legal texts still does not re-prompt on its own.
  • Small detail for later: nothing is reported during uninstall – nothing may run there that could hold up an update.

Consent handling follows the new winku specification.

  • The version of the legal texts now comes from winku.de directly instead of the page modification date. A typo fix no longer affects your consent.
  • The device-wide consent is stored in the agreed shared format. If you consented in the store, no other Winku app will ask again - and the other way round.
  • When you are signed in, the consent is additionally recorded on your account.
  • A changed version does NOT re-prompt on its own.

Anonymous usage figures and identifiable downloads.

  • The store now reports anonymous figures to winku.de: the running version, channel and language, plus whether an update went through. The identifier used for this is a plain random value generated on this device and deleted when you uninstall. It is never derived from hardware, account or user name and cannot be traced back to a person.
  • Two counts are sent as well: how often an installation and how often an update was started. Which app it was is not reported.
  • All downloads now send the identifier "winkustore/<version>", so they no longer show up as "unknown" in the statistics.
  • Fix over 1.19.0: there the uninstaller could block an update. Please skip version 1.19.0.

New in 1.17.0: The store now notices new versions on its own while it is open – it checks the small version files every five minutes instead of reloading the whole catalogue. The overview updates quietly in the background.

Fixed: Installing an older version from the version history failed because the signature file could not be found.

Tidied up: Account and settings now share a single menu entry, and under Support the form for a new request appears right away instead of an empty page.

New in 1.16.0: Streamer mode now sets itself up. The store reads the port and password directly from your OBS installation – nothing to type in. One click on "When live" is enough, and as soon as you start streaming in OBS, your email address and account name disappear across all Winku apps.

If remote control is still switched off in OBS, the store now says exactly what to do – including a button to check again.

  • The name now comes first in large type, the tagline smaller below it, the description last.

Frequently asked questions

What does WinkuStore cost?

Nothing, WinkuStore is free.

Which systems are supported?

Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. No administrator rights required.

Do I need an account?

Not for browsing, but yes for installing. Signing in applies to all Winku apps – once is enough.

Why am I asked something before my first installation?

Once per device you confirm the terms and the privacy policy. That confirmation covers every app you install through the store; neither the store nor an installed app asks again afterwards.

Where does the app information come from?

Live from the public Winku catalogue – the same content as on the website.

Are the downloads safe?

Every file is verified against its SHA256 checksum and its signature before installation. If anything does not match, it is discarded instead of installed.

Can I cancel a download?

Yes, while it is downloading. The partial file is removed. Once the installation itself is running it is finished – cancelling midway would leave a half-replaced installation.

Do I get updates?

Yes, automatically in the background – and you decide whether your apps update themselves too. The update channel can be set for everything or per app.

Can I go back to an older version?

Yes, through an app's version archive, as long as that version is still offered.

Where do I get help?

Right in the store under “Support”: create a ticket there and see the replies. Alternatively at winku.de/support.
